Kumasi Road Contractor Kofi Job Brings Smiles to 1,000 Widows
Mr. Kofi Job, a renowned road contractor based in Kumasi, brightened the Christmas season for 1,000 widows in the Kumasi metropolis by distributing live chickens, bags of rice, litres of cooking oil, and undisclosed amounts of cash on Christmas Eve.
The self-styled evangelist, led the presentation of the donations alongside his wife.
The event, held at the premises of Otec FM, aimed to bring joy and relief to widows during the festive season.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Mr. Job shared that supporting the needy, especially widows, has become a daily commitment for him.
He expressed gratitude to God and attributed his ability to give to the abundant grace he has received from God.
Mr. Job also emphasized the importance of peace in fostering such acts of generosity.
“We can only do this because there is peace in the country. I commend all Ghanaians for their prayers and peaceful conduct before, during, and after the December 7 elections.”
The gesture drew heartfelt appreciation from the recipients.
Maame Adwoa Ampofo, a 68-year-old retired farmer, was moved to tears as she recounted her struggles since losing her husband six years ago.
She shared that celebrating Christmas with proper meals had been a struggle.
Grace Eshun, a 55-year-old widow and charcoal seller, praised Mr. Job’s kindness, noting that the items would enable her to better care for her grandchildren.
