Kumasi Mayor Reasons with Car Dealers along Santasi–Ahodwo Road over Relocation
The Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang, has assured car dealers operating along Santasi-Ahodwo road that their relocation is temporary.
During an engagement with the stakeholders over the ongoing road construction in the area, he stated that the Assembly has no intention of permanently relocating them.
According to him, the temporary relocation is only to allow the contractor to work smoothly and complete the project within the expected six months.
He also noted that some clearing will take place to pave the way for proper road construction, after which affected dealers will be allowed to return to their spaces.
The car dealers welcomed the engagement and pledged their cooperation to ensure the successful completion of the project.
