Kumasi Mayor Opens Kejetia Clinic
The Anwiam Clinic popularly known as Kejetia Clinic inside the Kumasi City Market has been commissioned for use by Officials of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) as part of measures by the Government to bring quality healthcare delivery to the doorstep of the people.
The Commissioning was done by the City Mayor, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, supported by staff of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) among other personalities from the Metro Directorate of the Ghana Health Service and other stakeholders.
At a brief ceremony, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi explained that, the main reason for the opening of the facility is to provide primary healthcare delivery especially to the traders and commuters.
He said, National Health Insurance Card and other accredited insurance cards will be accepted as mode of payment of bills from patients.
Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi therefore admonished managers of the facility to ensure periodic maintenance.
