Kotoko Sign Emmanuel Kotei To Augment Defence

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have struck a deal with Nsoatreman Football Club to augment their defensive side by signing right-back Emmanuel Kotei.

He is the Porcupines’ first signing in the second transfer window of the 2023/2024 season.

The 26-year-old joins his “dream” club on a three-year deal. Kotei told Asante Kotoko media the signing means everything to him.

“Kotoko is every player’s dream and, finally, mine has been realized. As a local boy having the opportunity to wear our colours means everything to me.”

In a statement, the club justified his signing saying, he “arrives with Premier League experience from his previous stint with Tamale City.

“The attacking full-back showcased his talent and potential while playing for both Nsoatreman and Tamale City, making 47 appearances for both clubs since the start of the 2022/23 season.”
