Kotoko Select Len Clay to Host Young Apostles

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has opted for Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium as their home grounds for their Matchweek three game this season after missing the Marchweek two game against Nsoatreman FC due to concerns about the venue.

Having gotten the nod from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kotoko will host newly promoted Young Apostles in Obuasi this Sunday.

It comes after their traditional home ground, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was shut to undergo renovation following the revocation of its right to host qualifiers by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Kotoko won their season opener against Karla United away from home and currently holds three points while Young Apostles go into the September 22 game with one point from last Sunday’s goalless draw against Nations FC.

Their opener ended a woeful 2-0 defeat to Nsoatreman. Apostles are racing in 14th place and will be hoping to make a good impression on the football fraternity this weekend.
