Korean University to Confer Honorary Degree on Mahama

Yonsei University is scheduled to confer an Honorary Degree on Ghana’s President, HE John Dramani Mahama.

The honour will be in recognition of his distinguished leadership and contributions to democratic governance, public service, and international cooperation.

The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, 13 March 2026, at 10:00 AM (Korean time) / 1:00 AM (Ghana time), during the President’s working visit to South Korea.

The honour reflects the strong and enduring relations between Ghana and South Korea and the shared commitment to education, innovation and global partnership.

President Mahama is in South Korea on a five-day working visit.
