Kojo Choi Appointed Ghana’s Envoy to South Korea

In the latest set of appointed Ambassadors and High Commissioners, Kojo Choi, a South Korean-born Ghanaian businessman, was appointed.
The 47-year-old emerged in the list put out by Dr Callistus Mahama, the Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama.
The letter dated July 21 also named Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah for the Republic of Namibia, Dr. Kwame Ampofo for Hungary, Mona Helen Kabuki Quartey for the Italian Republic, and Magnus Kofi Amoatey for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Other names included Kenneth Akibate for Burkina Faso, Said Saleh Sinare for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Paul Evans Aidoo for the Republic of Kenya and Mr. Benedict Batabe Assorow to replace Mrs. Satirich Dorcas Ocran as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Vatican City State.
The letter also directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to undertake all necessary steps to finalise the appointment process.
Their principal task is to enhance Ghana’s bilateral cooperation, promote trade and cultural exchanges, and strengthen the nation’s global presence.
