Kofi Akpaloo Yet to Meet ¢10 Million Bail Conditions After EOCO Arrest- Justice Srem Sai

The leader of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has failed to meet his bail conditions after his arrest by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

This was disclosed by the Deputy Attorney-General, Justice Srem Sai.

Confirming his arrest on September 3, 2025, he said it followed allegations of various financial crimes including fraud, causing financial loss to the State, dissipation of public funds, and money laundering.

The suspect was granted a GHC 10 million police bail with 2 sureties to be justified, he said.

However, he has failed to meet the conditions.

The Deputy A-G therefore confirmed his continued stay in custody.

“The suspect remains in the custody of EOCO pending the fulfilment of the bail conditions.”
