Kofi Adomah Nwanwani Shot In the Eye
The Chief Executive Officer of Kofi TV, and Director Of News at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN GHANA), Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has been shot in the eye.
There is scanty information surrounding the incident; however, the news was confirmed by broadcast journalist Afia Pokuaa in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
In her post, she assured her colleague of the needed prayer for recovery.
She wrote, “Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime on you”
A live post by Kofi on Tuesday night suggested that he is receiving medical attention at the Moorfields Eye Hospital branch in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This is not the first attack on the journalist. In August 2024, he was attacked by an unknown gang at Old Ashongman Village in Accra.
In a viral video, Kofi Adoma was seen in a wheelchair with numerous cuts over his body.
The matter was taken up by the police; however, the outcome of the investigations was not made public and no arrest was brought to public attention.
The attack forced him into hiding for weeks before he made an appearance on TV.
