Kennedy Agyapong: If The NPP Wants To Break The Eight They Should Give Me Chance
Member of Parliament for the Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has claimed that, “if the NPP wants to break the eight, then they should give me the chance, I can do it and I will deliver it”. The Assin Central Legislator after making his intentions clear to the public in contesting for the New Patriotic Party’s flag bearership position has become laudable in selling his brand of personality and leadership qualities to the Ghanaian citizenry and his party NPP.
Speaking to the media, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said, most people assert that it is not yet his time to climb to the presidency office. He responded that it is the vision of any politician to go far to the climax of the political ladder but he believes in being circumspect of the right to make that dream manifest. He stipulated that “I chose not to convey my intentions early because I was patiently waiting for President Akufo-Addo to deliver” in his term of office before taking the right decision, “now I think the right time is due”.
The MP said there is something unique and substantial in the tourism industry that can fetch the country a lot of revenue which if he is not voted for will never be utilized by any other politician who assumes the highest office of the land.
He reiterated that so many European countries have accrued huge revenue from the tourism industry and Ghana as a country must follow suit to explore more from the sector.
Prior to this latest engagement with the media, the Assin Central MP has said that Ghanaians should vote for him because he is not the regular politician that will give vain promises for power, but an honest person who cares about the welfare of the people. He divulged that “Ghanaians have tried all professions and it’s now the time to try a businessman”.
