Ken Ohene Agyapong to File Flagbearer Nomination On Wednesday

Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Ken Ohene Agyapong, is expected to file his nomination to contest as flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) this week.

A statement issued by a member of camp said he will file his nomination on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, around 1pm at the NPP-National Party Headquarters in Accra.

According to the statement, the nomination is more than just a political step.

“It is a bold declaration of Hon. Ken’s determination to secure victory for the NPP in 2028. It is a call to every Ghanaian who believes in leadership anchored on patriotism, honesty, and discipline.

“Above all, it is a firm assurance of a future where promises are honoured, ideas are turned into results, and our nation delivers lasting prosperity for its citizens.”

Ken is among dozens that who have expressed interest in leading the NPP into the 2028 Presidential race.
