Ken Agyapong Apologises to Angry Supporters for Joining Bawumia

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has apologized to his angry supporters for lending his support to the Vice President and the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after their experience during the Presidential Primary.

On the occasion of his birthday, the politician underscored the need for his support in the quest of their mother party to win power for another four years as a justification for his action.

Ken after some rows with the Vice President and the entire party during the Presidential primary last year and earlier this year, was spotted last week among the campaign team of Dr Bawumia in the Ashanti Region.

He expressed his regret for not informing his loyal supporters- whom he understands are angry at him- beforehand.

“I joined the Vice President in the Ashanti Region and I know it didn’t go down well with some of you. I apologize for not informing you before I went there.”

“I’m still an NPP member. Once I’m a party member no matter what happened during the primary, I think we are all party people and it will be best for all of us to stand together so I’m pleading with my supporters, let’s use my birthday to reconcile.

“I’m also pleading with the Vice President Supporters. I know they are intimidating my supporters. If they want us to come together and unite, then they should also reciprocate the same favours I’m rendering on behalf of my supporters.”
