Kassim Mingles Secures Role at Swedru All Blacks

Kassim Ocansey Mingle has secured a position as the head coach of Swedru All Blacks following the dismissal of their Egyptian manager.
Kassim Ocansey Mingle, the head coach of Black Galaxies, was fired along with his assistant, Johnson Smith, from Nations FC in October 2025, right after Week 7 of the season.
The manager distinguished by discovering talent in the Ghana Premier League joined Nations FC following a successful tenure with Bechem United, which he departed in the 2023-24 season.
Kassim Mingle played 34 league games in the previous season with Nations FC and settled at the 5th position with 57 points; his side recorded the highest number of goals, with 40.
Swedru All Blacks, enjoying their debut in Ghana’s elite division, have 24 points after 20 league games, placing them 11th but sharing the same number of points with Nations FC.
The Black Magicians in Ghana’s Central Region have hired their third head coach since they moved up a level. Egyptian coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fati took over from Prince George Koffie at the start of the season.
Stephen Atto Forson, the Black Magicians’ President considering his key function in the team’s return to the Ghana Premier League after a 16-year hiatus, will seek to survive the season.
Swedru All Blacks administration has issued a statement indicating that the coach, who has a lot of expertise, great leadership abilities, and a proven track record in Ghanaian football, will be the head coach till the season is completed.
The management explained the decision to appoint Kassim Mingle, “The club’s management is confident that coach Mingle’s philosophy aligns perfectly with the values and ambitions of Swedru All Blacks, as we continue our quest for growth, consistency, and success both on and off the pitch.”
Kassim Mingle faces Bibiani Gold Stars in Week 21 of the Ghana Premier League and plays against his former team, Nations FC, during the fixture of the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup.
