Kasoa Petty Traders Petition Trade Ministry Over Eviction Notice

Petty traders in Kasoa have formally petitioned the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry following an eviction notice.

The notice was served to them on March 26, 2026.

According to the traders, the notice requires them to vacate their current trading location, raising concerns about their livelihoods and the potential loss of income.

The Director in Charge of Industries at the Ministry, Mr Kofi Addo, received the petition on behalf of the Minister, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, on Thursday.

He assured the traders that the petition would be presented to the Minister.
