Kaase Timber Bridge Undergoes Emergency Repair

The Ashanti Regional Department of Urban Roads has announced an emergency repair of the Kaase Timber Bridge.
The project is scheduled to take a duration of 3 months, beginning December 6, 2025 and ending on March 14, 2026.
Though commuters will be allowed to use the bridge while the repair works carry on, it is noted that there will be a partial closure during the installation of major bridge components.
“The works will be executed while maintaining controlled safe passage of vehicles over the bridge. Scheduled partial closure will occur during the installation of major bridge components.”
Apologising for the inconvenience, it stated, “All motorists are advised to adhere strictly to the traffic management measures for the duration of the works.”
