Jordan Ayew Extends Contract With Palace
Black Stars player Jordan Ayew has extended his commitment to English Premier League side Crystal Palace.
He will stay with the club until 2025.
The Ghanaian feels “great” about the extension, promising to give his utmost best to push the club up the league table.
He told the club’s media, “It feels great. I think everyone knows how much I love this club. I feel immense pride every time I put on the Palace shirt; this club is my home, and signing a new contract shows that.”
“I hope I can help the club push on up the league. We have a good squad and the belief to achieve something special. I will be giving 100% every week to make sure we go on a good run and start climbing the table.”
Jordan joined Palace in 2018 from Swansea City on loan.
He has so far made 186 appearances in all competitions. He has made 12 appearances this season, finding the back of the net once and delivering three assists.
The 32-year-old was voted Player of the Month in August and credited coach Roy Hodgson for his success at the Club.
“I’d like to thank the manager – I have so much respect for Roy [Hodgson], he’s been so good to me – and Steve Parish and Dougie Freedman. They’re always there when you need them. Not forgetting all of the staff at the club; we all have a great bond here,” he told the Club’s media.
Palace Chairman Steve Parish classified Jordan as a fantastic player, the reason for his contract extension.
“Jordan is a fantastic professional, on and off the pitch. His efforts are never less than 100%, and as a result, he provides an outstanding example to his teammates day in, and day out.”
