Japan and Iran Envoys End Tenure in Ghana
The Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, H.E. Mochizuki Hisanobu, and the Iranian Ambassador, H.E. Bijam Gerami Nazoksara, have concluded their duties.
They extended their farewell messages to the President at the Jubilee House on November 4, 2024 in separate receptions.
HE Hisanobu presented his letter of credence in 2021 after serving as Head of Mission at the Japanese Embassy from 2009 to 2012 while H.E Nazoksara in 2022.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo extended the gratitude of the nation to the two envoys, for contributing to deepen the several years of cooperation and collaboration between Ghana and their respective countries.
He gifted the outgoing Iranian envoy a stool, smock and kente fabric to make a lasting memory of his service to the West African country.
President Akufo-Addo hoped the intervention of the United Nations in the tensions between Iran and Israel will soon get addressed in the interest of regional and global peace and stability.
