I’m Following in the Footsteps of Otumfuo – Kunsuhene
Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah I, Kunsuhene in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region, has stated that he is following in the footsteps of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, particularly in his commendable initiatives for development, especially in health and education.
According to him, the Asantehene has set a significant example with the Heal Komfo Anokye project, for all chiefs to follow in developing their towns.
He made this known as he presented health equipment including 15 modern beds, 15 mattresses, 3 sets of 35-inch flat-screen TVs, drip stands, and other items worth GH₵320,000 to the Kunsu Health Centre.
The chief expressed his gratitude to his wife, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Badu Duah, Oheneba Hiahene, and his sub-chiefs, including Mankransohene Nana Sarfo Adu Amankwaatia, who also attended the event.
Present at the event was Hon. Elvis Duah Dapaah (OKUMKOM), the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who appreciated the support from Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah and assured further collaboration as a native of Kunsu.
Hon. Joseph Frimpong Bonsu (DCE for Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly) commended Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah for his efforts and expressed appreciation, noting that the NPP government is progressing with the Agenda 111 project at Kunsu and praised Kunsuhene for his support as well.
