I’m Committed to Making Our Airports World-class- Deputy GACL MD

The Acting Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, says she is determined to make the country’s gateways one of the best globally.
Acknowledging the task ahead of her, she committed to collaborating with the needed stakeholders to elevate the integrity of airports by making them efficient.
“The Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) is a critical player when it comes to Ghana’s economic and infrastructural development. It is a gateway to our beautiful country and a key trade, tourism, and investment driver.”
She continued, “I step into this role fully aware of its immense responsibility, and I am ready, working with my colleagues, to give my utmost to ensure that our airports remain efficient and world-class and offer exceptional passenger and customer experience to our clients.”
This was contained in a statement expressing her gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for her appointment which she characterized as call to serve.
“Thank you, President John Dramani Mahama, for your trust and confidence. I am deeply honoured, sir. This appointment is not just a call to duty but to serve.”
She therefore pledged to serve with “Excellence, Integrity, and Commitment” to contribute to achieving the overall vision of the President.
