I will Give Akufo-Addo 4% – Political Analyst
Political Analyst Kwaku Owusu Antwi in a panel discussion on Opemsuo Radio’s Nkwantannanso with Kofi Boakye, has delivered a scathing assessment of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s performance, giving him a dismal rating of just 4 out of 100.
According to the analyst, his tenure has been marked by failure, with little progress made on key issues facing the country.
“Akufo-Addo has failed completely; he is a failure. I will give him 4%.”
Reacting to the president’s recent State of the Nation Address (SONA), he indicated that his delivery seemed rehearsed.
“They gave him information, and he did rehearsals and delivered the SONA.”
Furthermore, the analyst criticized what he perceived as a lack of genuine concern for the plight of Ghanaians in the president’s address. He pointed out the president’s tendency to focus on “My Government” rather than prioritizing the needs of the people.
“He likes talking about ‘me, me, me,’ ‘my government.’ People are hungry. If you live up to 60 years in Ghana, then you are blessed. People die early because of abject poverty,” he lamented.
President Akufo-Addo’s SONA, delivered on February 27, 2024, outlined his government’s achievements over the past year and outlined projections for the current year.
