I Look Forward to Capital Injection for Telecel Growth- Asantehene

The Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, says he expects the needed funds and investments to be injected into Telecel Ghana after Telecel Group took over from Vodafone Group Ghana Limited two years ago.

His Majesty observes that the telecommunications company under the abled leadership of Mrs Patricia Obo-Nai is faring quite well, however, with slow growth.

During a courtesy visit by the Chief Executive Office on January 31, 2025, the King served notice of his desire to see the company grow.

This, he indicated, will be possible with the needed investment by the new owner.

“She is still in charge and the company is doing well. All I look for is the investment for growth.”

The King also counselled her to stay humble and unite with her team to run the company.

His Majesty also promised her his constant prayers for her success.
