I Don’t Sleep When I Have Cash at Home- Kwaku Oteng

The President and founder of Angel Group of Companies, Dr Kwaku Oteng, says he experiences sleepless nights whenever he has huge sums of money in his home.

Such situations always put him on the edge, he disclosed in an interview with Saddick Adams.

The disclosure was in response to a question that sought when he realized he had raked it in.

“I never realized that I am rich. The reason is that you won’t come and find the money lying all around.  It is reported that there was a time when Dangote went to withdraw one million dollars to realise he was rich.

“In my case, even when my clients pay what they owe me let’s say one million cedis, I won’t sleep that night. I am unable to sleep. I fear…. I don’t feel I am rich, I think it’s diligence, grace and the mercy of God. I don’t have money.”

The fear seems to stem from post-traumatic stress disorder, which has lived with him since he fell victim to an armed robbery attack in 2000.
