Hearts of Oak, Coach Charged for Snubbing Post-match Presser

Hearts of Oak and its head coach, Abubakar Ouattara have found themselves in hot water after failing to show up at the post-match engagement with journalists at the end of Saturday’s game.

It is alleged that the coach “intentionally” refused to attend the mandatory press conference to address the media after their defeat to Dreams FC.

Meanwhile, the FA faults the club for failing to present its coach for the presser.

Accordingly, it has charged the club and coach for misconduct in breach of Article 38(8)(a) and 36(6)(d) of the GFA Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019.

“They have until Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to respond to the charges,” a notice by the FA communicated.

Hearts lost by 1-0 to struggling Hearts of Oak. Razak Salifu registered the lone goal for the visitors three minutes into the game.

After 21 games, the Phobias are fourth on the log with 36 points.
