Health Ministry Disclaims 15,947 Nurses and Midwives Recruitment Announcement

The Ministry of Health has disclaimed a viral release announcing an upcoming recruitment exercise for nurses and midwives.

The said release said the Finance Ministry had issued financial clearance for the employment of 15,947 nurses and midwives.

It added that recruitment would begin on April 13.

In response to the viral post, the Ministry stated that it had not received clearance from the Finance Ministry.

It announced that the release was fake and not from its organisation, urging the public to disregard it.
