Headmaster Laments Over The Bad Condition Of Fufuo School

The headmaster for Fufuo Primary and Junior High School in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Mr. Baffour Awuah has lamented over the poor state of the school.

According to Mr. Baffour Awuah, the school lost its roofing after a heavy downpour. This happened in March 2022.

“I’ve written a letter to the educational directorate concerning this issue but nothing has been done”.

“I went to the District Chief Executive Officer and made the condition known to him, yet nothing has been done”, Mr. Baffour Awuah said.

He went on to say that, “the population of the school has decreased drastically and the condition of the school has had several negative impacts”.

Substantiating what Mr. Awuah said, the School Management Committee Chairman Yaro Yakubu said a lot has been done to change the condition of the school but to no avail. He urged all private corporations to come to the aid of the school.

Confirming what the two officials of the school have said, Mr. Akwasi Afriyie the treasurer for the School Management Committee revealed that, they had a Parent-Teacher Association meeting not long ago. The main motive for the meeting was to solicit funds to support the school, we, therefore, urge private organisations to assist this project.
Also, one member of the School Management Committee Mr. Kwame Dankwah who is a carpenter by profession said, it is disheartening to see the school in such a state.

“The school needs a fund of about 15,000”, we need help, Mr. Kwame Dankwah pleaded.
