Haruna Iddrisu Appointed Education Minister-designate

The Member of Parliament for Tamale-South Constituency and former Minority leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has been appointed the Minister-designate for Education.

When approved by the Appointments Committee of Parliament, he will replace Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.

In a new set of list of appointees by President John Dramani Mahama, the seasoned politician was among the 12 Minister-designates which included three Regional Ministers.

Per the list, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, MP for Ketu South Constituency goes to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts while Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, MP for Krowor Constituency heads to Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

Additionally, Emelia Arthur, MP for Shama Constituency will head the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
