GPL: 3 Free Points and Goals to Be Awarded Against Nsoatreman after Withdrawal
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a decision to award three points and goals to opposition clubs in all scheduled Nsoatreman FC games after its withdrawal from the league.
The Club notified the FA about its withdrawal from the ongoing league citing safety concerns following recent events involving its matches with Asante Kotoko SC and FC Samartex 1996.
Reacting to the said letter sent via email, the GFA said efforts to convince it to reconsider the decision proved futile after several engagements.
It has therefore invoked Article 13(5) of the Regulations against the club.
“Going forward, on each scheduled matchday of Nsoatreman FC, three (3) points and three (3) goals shall be awarded in favour of the opposing club.”
The matter has also been referred to the GFA Prosecutor and the disciplinary process will proceed in line with the provisions of the Regulations.
