GMet Observes Rainstorms Over Gulf, Parts Of Ghana
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has warned of imminent thunderstorms or rains this afternoon.
This was after it detected two separate rainstorms over the Gulf and North-eastern portions of Ghana.
The rainstorms are expected to produce thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities for areas along the coast, Transition, Middle, and Oti regions this afternoon, the GMet said.
It noted that the Marine surroundings of the country will be affected by the rainstorm as well.
Aflao, Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, Ho, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Sefwi Bekwai, Kete Krachi, Kintampo Goaso, Sunyani, Techiman, Yendi, and Tamale will experience thunderstorm/rain this afternoon.
Meanwhile, GMet says Bole, Damango, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, and Wa will experience cloudiness this afternoon.
This evening will however be cloudy in Aflao, Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, Ho, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Sefwi Bekwai, Kete Krachi, Kintampo Goaso, Sunyani, Techiman and partially cloudy in Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, and Wa, according to the GMet.
