Ghana’s Envoy to UK Presents Letters of Credence to King Charles

Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), HE Sabah Zita Benson, has presented her letter of credence to King Charles III.
The occasion took place at St. James’s Palace on January 28, 2026, the High Commission reported in a statement on Friday.
According to the High Commission, the envoy is the first High Commissioner to be received at St James’s Palace since 1910.
The last presentation took place under the reign of King Edward VII.
It celebrated the occasion as a highlight of the rich bilateral and historic relations between Ghana and the United Kingdom.
It also finds it to be a significant milestone, celebrating Ghana’s appointment of its first female High Commissioner to the UK since 1957.
