Ghana’s Abdul Aziz Issah Joins Barca
Dreams Football Club player Abdul Aziz Issah has joined the reserve team of La Liga side FC Barcelona on a season-long loan.
It comes a few days after the Spanish club signed their first Ghanaian player, David Oduro, within this transfer window.
The recent transfer followed an agreement with 2022/2023 MTN FA Cup champions, Dreams FC.
“FC Barcelona and Ghanaian Dreams FC have reached an agreement for the loan of player Abdul Aziz Issah to Barça Atlètic for one season, until June 30, 2025.”
The agreement includes an option to buy at the end of the season at the Barça club, it added.
The 18-year-old Ghana U20 player has made 46 appearances in the Ghana Premier League after joining two years ago and has to his credit eight goals.
On August 30, Barca announced the signing of David Oduro after reaching an agreement with Ghanaian side Accra Lions.
He signed a three-season contract valid till June 30, 2027.
