Ghana To Host 2023 Africa Para Game As Test Case For 13th African Games

The maiden edition of the 2023 Africa Para Game will take place in Ghana in September, the Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon Mustapha Ussif has said.

At a press briefing on Wednesday, July 26, he said “The 2023 Africa Para Game will be the first edition of African Para Games will be hosted in Ghana from 3rd to 12th September 2023.”

The game will have three sports including Amputee Football, Wheelchair basketball and Wheelchair basketball and will test the country’s preparedness towards the 13th Africa Games scheduled for March 2024.

He said 1,314 participants including athletes, confederation heads and volunteers from 22 countries will be in the country for the game and urged corporate organisations to sponsor it.
