Ghana Presents 10 High School Athletes for 2025 Africa Schools Sports Championship
Ghana has presented 10 Senior High School (SHS) athletes to participate in the 2025 Africa Schools Sports Championship.
Algeria will host the event from July 24 to August 1, 2025.
A statement by Ghana Athletics on Tuesday said the participating athletes are talented young athletes selected from top-performing senior high schools across the country.
They will represent Ghana in track and field events. The team of five female athletes, five male athletes and two coaches are scheduled to depart Accra on July 23, fully prepared.
“This participation marks Ghana’s commitment to south sports development and the future of athletics on the continent…GA extends its appreciation to the Ghana Olympic Committee, Ministry of Sports and Recreation and all stakeholders for their continued support in promoting athletics development in Ghana.”
