Ghana Physiotherapy Association Says No Sex Position Causes Stroke

The Ghana Physiotherapy Association has discredited a report that “Doggy style” causes stroke.

The information was disseminated by a physio instructor on the GTV morning show and has since gained public attention.

But in a rejoinder, the Association said the claim is not evidence-based.

“For the avoidance of any doubt, the Ghana Physiotherapy Association wishes to state for the record that there is no evidence to support this claim. Physiotherapists, the world over, believe in Evidence Based Practice”.

It, therefore, called on the public to disregard the information.

The Association also urged the public to seek advice from certified physiotherapists on such topics.
