GFA Reminds Clubs About Impending Transfer Window Closure
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has served notice about the impending transfer window closure of the 2025/26 football season.
The registration period for the 2025/26 football season, which opened on Monday, June 23, 2025, is set to close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
All clubs of the Ghana Football Association are expected to complete player transfers and registrations in line with the GFA Regulations within the schedule.
In its statement, the FA noted that the deadline will be strictly enforced.
“As part of the process, the Association has outlined that clubs must complete all registrations before the August 31 deadline and all queries raised by the Association must be resolved within a day (weekend included).
“Deadline for the loading money into the registration wallet of clubs is on or before Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with the Proof of Payment Form emailed to the GFA Finance Department via finance@ghanafa.org.”
Meanwhile, the 2025/26 season will commence with the Ghana Premier League on Friday, September 12, 2025.
