GFA Meets Premier League Club Officials On Wednesday

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will engage officials of Premier League clubs on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming 2025/2026 football season.
The meeting scheduled for 1 pm at the headquarters of the Association in Accra will also focus on other matters of importance to the growth and success of the domestic topflight.
In a statement, the FA said the engagement set for September 3, 2025, forms part of the GFA’s stakeholder engagement approach, ensuring that clubs remain active partners in shaping decisions that affect the league and the broader football ecosystem.
“The meeting is expected to address key operational issues ahead of the new campaign, including calendar planning, regulatory updates, deliverables to commercial partners, and matters arising from the just-ended season.”
The FA further emphasised its commitment to deepening collaboration with its clubs as it works to strengthen the Ghana Premier League and position it as a competitive and commercially viable product.
