GFA Approves Bekwai Heroes FC’s Request to Rebrand

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted approval for a name change by Bekwai Heroes FC.
The club’s owners submitted a request to change its name to Ashgold FC to the FA in a letter.
In response, the FA approved the requests under some conditions including the settlement of all debts.
“Consequently, the GFA hereby approves the change of name from BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB LTD to ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB.”
“Kindly take notice that all documents, rights and obligations including but not limited to, debts or fines owed to the GFA and player registration licenses or fees and history in the name of Division One League club BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB shall STILL REMAIN VALID AND SHALL CONTINUE IN FORCE as if same is owed by or are in the name of ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB.”
