GES Okays Boarding In Nsawam SHS
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has given Nsawam Senior High School (SHS) in the Eastern Region the nod to run both day and boarding.
The Category C school got the approval in a letter dated November 1 2023 after an inspection.
The letter said the Service was pleased with the existing facilities and thereby the approval.
“Management of Ghana Education Service has inspected the Nsawam Senior High School in Nsawam Adoagyir District and is satisfied with the boarding facilities of the school.”
It further charged the Director of the Regional Education Directorate to collaborate with the District Director and the school’s headmaster to hire the needed staff members.
Nsawam SHS was established in 1991 as part of the government’s policy to establish community day schools.
