G/AR: Truck Kills Motor Rider at Anyaa Market

A Verna Mineral water truck has killed a motor rider at Anyaa Market in Accra after a collision.

According to a report filed by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the accident was a rear-collision on Wednesday, January 13, 2026.

The male victim, suspected to be the motorbike rider, has since been handed over to the Police.

“GNFS Rescuers secured the scene, prevented further danger, and worked with the Police and Ambulance Service to ensure safety.”

Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
