First Direct Flight From London to Prempeh I Airport Rescheduled
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced that the expected first flight from London Gatwick to the Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport will now take place on later date.
In a communique, the Company attributed the development to “short notice given for the special flight”.
It failed to adduce a new date for the flight but noted that it is expected for later this week.
“Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) wishes to inform the general public that as a result of the short notice given for the special flight from London Gatwick to Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport, the previously announced flight slated for Tuesday, December 3, 2024 will now arrive at Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport later this week.”
Meanwhile, it said the return flight scheduled for the December 15, 2024 from Kumasi to London remains unchanged.
In a statement last Friday, the GACL announced the first international flight from London to Kumasi would depart at 2:10 am and arrive 9:05 am and then return at 11 am.
Additionally, it said the second flight would be on December 15 at 11 am with subsequent ones being published in coming weeks.
