Fire Ravages Six-unit Commercial Building at Ashaiman

Fire has destroyed parts of a six-unit commercial building at Ashaiman Lebanon Zone 2.

Firefighters from Ashaiman Fire Station, led by ADOI Christian Nyarkosah, responded to a fire, reported the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

“Arriving within 6 minutes despite poor road conditions, they saved five units out of 6 units and nearby wooden dwellings.”

The fire incident that occurred on May 26 was brought under control around 1419hrs and fully extinguished by 1454hrs.

“One computer shop was destroyed, but the swift action showcased the firefighters’ skill and dedication.”

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained while the Service didn’t report any casualties.
