Financial Institutions Extend Felicitations to Asantehene at First Awukudae Festival

Financial institutions have extended felicitations to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The Management of Stanbic Bank Ghana and GCB Bank took advantage of the first Awukudae Festival of the year to individually convey their goodwill messages to the Asantehene.

Gratitude
Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, the Executive Head of Marketing for Stanbic Ghana, who led the delegation expressed gratitude to Otumfuo for his support throughout the years.

He stated that the financial institution has survived and soared to lead the industry with the kind courtesy of the Monarch.

“As start a new year, we seek the continuous blessings of the Asantehene to better serve our customers and succeed in our endeavours.”

Introduction
While wishing Otumfuo a happy new year and an incident-free one full of blessings, GCB introduced Madam Magret Obimpe as its new Personal Banking General Manager.

Also joining the Awukudae Festival on January 14, 2026, were the Methodist Church Ghana, Christian Service University (CSU), the District Grand Lodge, the Regional Commander of Ghana Immigration Service, Hill Top Executives Fitness Club, GUBA, and others.
