Walk-a-thon: Ghanaian Covers 93 Hours In Attempt For World Record

A Ghanaian man is seeking to write his name in history books by walking a distance of 380km covering four regions in the country.

Seidu Rafiwu set out on the Guinness World Record (GWR) journey over the weekend and covered 96 hours in his attempt which ended on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Independence Square in Accra.

He began his journey in the Bono Region and passed through the Ashanti Region, Eastern and then ended in the Greater Accra Region.

There were earlier reports suggesting he had collapsed along the way; however, those suggestions were dispelled in a video.

According to him, the captured moment misrepresented as unconsciousness, was a period of break during which he underwent scheduled recovery session conducted by the medical team.
