Family of Lumba Officially Informs Presidency of His Passing
The family of the late legendary Ghanaian musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known as Daddy Lumba, has officially informed the presidency about his demise.
A delegation from the Parkoso Ekoɔna Family, the Fosu Family, and the Funeral Planning Committee paid a courtesy call on the Presidency on August 25, 2025.
They were received by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, who is out of the jurisdiction.
The presidency was also informed about the One-Week Observation of artiste set for this weekend.
“The delegation officially announced his passing and confirmed that the One-Week Observation will be held on Saturday, 30th August 2025, at the University of Ghana Sports Complex.”
Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025.
