FA Cup: Final Showdown Slated for Sunday

The finals of the MTN FA Cup this season will take place between Nsoatreman Football Club and relegated Bofoakwa Tano.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.

 

After sailing through all the stages, one of the two clubs will be make history by winning, as Dreams FC failed to defend the title despite their glorious campaign at the continental level.

Since 2000, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and the Accra Hearts of Oak both hold a record number of victories, three each.

Kotoko last won it in 2017 while Hearts last won it in the 2021/2022 season.

Medeama Sporting Club on the other hand have won it twice, first in the 2012/2013 season and 2015.

Meanwhile, Nana FC, Bechem United and Dreams FC have all won once respectively in 2011, 2016 and 2023.
