Expertise of Bank of Ghana Leadership Second to None – Otumfuo
The Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has expressed confidence in the brains entrusted with running the country’s monetary activities.
According to His Majesty, their expertise is second to none.
“I can confidently declare my trust in the capacity of the able young brains I see today to help the Bank fulfil its mandate,” Otumfuo declared when he visited the Bank Square in Accra on January 7, 2026, where he met the Management, Board and Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
The Asantehene notes that the Bank of Ghana’s mandate ultimately provides citizens with basic necessities like housing, food, clothing, education, and healthcare
As such, His Majesty availed himself of the continuous assistance of the institution.
“Of course, we have always been there to help them bring the temperature down when the heat threatens to overpower everyone. We have been on hand to help open doors both at home and abroad, so we have come to our beautiful home to see and thank the brain power managing over beloved cedi to encourage you to continue in your dedicated service and reassure you that whenever you feel the need for a shoulder to cry on, the doors are open.”
