Ex-Kotoko Star Bernard Somuah Strikes Late to Rescue Vital Point for Celta Fortuna

Former Asante Kotoko forward Bernard Somuah came up with a dramatic late equaliser as Celta Fortuna fought back to secure a pulsating 1-1 draw against CD Arenteiro in round 29 of the Primera Federación.
The home side took the lead in the 19th minute through Jordan Sanchez after an explosive start, putting Celta Fortuna on the back foot early in the encounter and forcing them to chase the game for long periods.
Somuah, however, rose to the occasion in stoppage time, firing home the equaliser in the 94th minute to snatch a valuable point for his side and take his goal tally to six for the season.
The young Ghanaian forward recently completed a permanent move to the club after an impressive initial loan spell and has continued to make his mark with consistent performances and important contributions in attack.
His timely strike not only rescued a point on the road but also helped maintain Celta Fortuna’s strong position in the league standings.
Celta Fortuna currently sit second in Group 1 of the Primera Federación with 51 points and will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Athletic Club B.
