Ex-Kotoko Coach Karim Zito Joins FC AshantiGold O4 Technical Team

Access Bank Division One League side FC AshantiGold O4 has appointed experienced trainer Karim Zito as their new head coach.

The club confirmed the decision as they push to strengthen their technical direction for the final stretch of the season.

Zito, steps into the role just weeks after resigning as head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, following their painful FA Cup round of 16 penalty shootouts defeat to Aduana FC.

His arrival is expected to inject top-level expertise, vast experience, and renewed tactical direction into the Miners’ camp as they chase a historic qualification to the Ghana Premier League.

FC AshantiGold O4 have been one of the standout sides this season, sitting top of Zone 2 with 40 points after 22 matches, a position that places them firmly in contention for promotion.

The club believes the addition of Karim Zito will further sharpen their ambitions, as they aim to finish the campaign strongly and seal their place in Ghana’s top-flight next season.
