Esaase Bontefufuo Gets New Queen

Esaase Bontefufuo in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region has gotten a new Queen following the passing of her predecessor.

With the Stool name Nana Ama Sarpong Faago, she was enstooled by Nana Siaw Kese II, Esaasehene.

The traditional ruler introduced her to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on January 19, 2026.

Otumfuo counselled her to take on the role of a unifier in the jurisdiction.

“As the mother, unite everyone under your authority. Do not discriminate against anyone. Be a mother figure and keep your eyes on issues of interest.”
