ENI Completes Gas Supply Upgrade

Italian energy group Eni has completed the upgrade to its gas infrastructure.

In a statement, the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition said the upgrade makes way for an increase in gas supply from 245 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) to 270 MMscfd.

The Ministry is confident that this will positively impact the country’s energy supply.

“This enhancement in gas supply is a significant step towards ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply for the nation. The increased capacity will support the power sector and contribute to the overall growth of Ghana.”

It further expressed its gratitude to Ghanaians for their cooperation during the exercise which witnessed the power supply cut to some parts of the country.
