Employees Busted After Plotting to Rob Company Cash

Two employees of an unnamed company have found themselves on the wrong side of the law after their plot to rob money was uncovered.

Joseph Danso, alias Nana Yaw, and Fauzan Alhassan alongside two others later identified as Frankie and Asante, planned to rob the company located at North Kaneshie during a scheduled cash transfer to a bank at Abossey Okai.

Surveillance was mounted by the Special Support Unit, leading to the arrest of the two suspects while they were trailing a dispatch rider transporting the funds on July 1, 2025.

A statement by the police said the suspects admitted to the crime during interrogation and named their accomplices.

“Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects, while the two are currently in Police custody assisting investigations.”
